"Prince Harry" took the newspaper to court on a false and defamatory report

"Prince Harry" issued a legal warning to the Mail on Sunday, telling him that his latest report on Duke, who had lost contact with the British armed forces, was "false and defamatory".
According to Vanity Fair, the newspaper is the one whose parent company, Meghan Markle, is currently on trial.
"Prince Harry" legal team issued a legal warning to the newspaper on Monday.
The report quoted sources as saying that the Duke of Sussex was saddened by the decision to leave the armed forces.

Prince Harry, proud of his military past, served in the armed forces for 10 years from 2006 to 2015.

He served as Lieutenant Commander of the Royal Navy, Major of the British Army and Squadron Leader of the Royal Air Force.

"Prince Harry" , the Royal Marines' captain general, received the highest military address he received from the Queen in December 2017.

"Prince Harry"  lost all of his honorary military positions when he and his wife, Meghan Markle, left behind royal life.

The Vanity Fair report quoted Prince Harry as saying, "He may have been made to relinquish his title, but he did not relinquish much of it to the army."

Another friend of Harry's made it clear that Duke was not in contact with the Marines. He had several conversations with ex-comrades during the lockdown and is in regular contact with many soldiers on a private and personal basis.

Earlier, there were reports that "Prince Harry" was "devastating and emotional" about leaving the royal family and losing his military ranks.
